These are a series of images made over time during several trips to Italy while teaching photography workshops there. My style is straight forward and documentary while working with composition, textures, lighting and of course, this unique subject matter.
This group of images summarizes my major themes: landscapes, city scenes, architectural details, grand panoramas, gardens and close ups in nature.
Like the other locations I love to photograph, I revisit Italy on a regular basis to rework the locations and add some new images to my collection.
