In 2015 Nancy Ori led two photography workshops to Cuba. This is part of the black and white portfolio that resulted from these destination workshops including environmental portrait photography, architectural photography and landscape photography in Cuba. The color portfolio can be found under the Locations tab on the menu bar.
"To say this was an amazing experience would be a real understatement. We hit the streets running and 'gunning' for images each day. Our guide introduced us to the culture and unique environments and supported us every step of the way to Vinales, Trinadad, and throughout Havana. We heard the music, met the real people and rode in the terrific old cars. Each experience offered such creative opportunities.
Some of this work will be featured in an exhibit titled
Cuba: Working and Waiting at the Watchung Arts Center in Watchung, NJ in September of 2016. I will also be showing work by some of my students from these workshops."
